Fossilized Mammoth ivory:
Old cave drawings show that early man used mammoth ivory for many Shamanistic, personal and household items as it is extremely dense and durable. Our mammoth jewellery is made from 10 000 yr old tusks found in Siberia. It is organic ivory, which has developed its warm and sensuous colour by taking up minerals from the earth. Ivory is changed by the personal chemistry of the wearer, and retains the wearer�s imprint. It has been recognized as the most personally significant material since the dawn of time. Tribu do not use any elephant ivory. No animals were harmed by obtaining this ivory, which makes it a beautiful alternative to non-organic ivories.
